Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will inaugurate the facility of high-energy linear accelerator machine at Mahavi Cancer Sansthan in Patna on January 28. This was disclosed by the institute officials at a press conference in Patna on January 25, 2011. Director of the institute Dr Jitendra Kumar Singh said the machine could treat complex areas of the body with great accuracy.
